Christians love to judge and give their two cents about everything, the sad part is, no one is asking for their two cents. Doesn’t matter if it’s caused by drugs or obesity and bad diet choices. Death is always present Christian circles and in porn.

They are never free from rules and regulations, there’s always someone up their ass, telling them what to do, what to say and how to say it. Christians on the other hand do what other folks have told them to do. They do what they choose to do to be happy.

I have much more respect for the women and men who do porn, they live their lives not worried about what other people think. I’d much rather do it on my on terms than on someone else’s. It doesn’t matter what type of job you do you’re still a whore, you’re still whoring yourself out to someone else, giving your time and freedom to others for money. Their deaths have shit to do with their profession or how they make their money. Also, men are often offered pills to deal with their depression when they would rather talk to someone.Hugo has just wrote one of the dumbest comments I’ve ever seen on the internet. The barriers are numerous and include cost, long wait lists and the fact that many health professionals have difficulty discussing suicide. Accessing mental health services is difficult. The first prevention strategy is to improve mental health services for gay and bisexual men. To extend the reach of these photographs, the Still Here project launched an online gallery at that has now been visited by thousands of individuals worldwide. These exhibits have had a powerful impact on those who viewed them, and provided space and inspiration for people to share their own stories and discuss prevention. To spark a conversation on suicide, the Still Here participants worked with the research team to host several exhibits of their photographs. This silence made it harder for them to ask for help.Ī photo called I am locked in the closet and hope to free myself.

Many Still Here participants described how they felt very alone with their suicidal thoughts because it is not something that people openly talk about. But not talking about it perpetuates shame and stigma. There is a pervasive myth that talking about suicide encourages it. We need to break the silence around suicide. For some, it was an abusive relationship, or the end of a relationship, that contributed to their thoughts of suicide. It was often coupled with mental illness, financial problems or losing a job. Homophobia is not the only reason these men contemplated suicide. These feelings often led to depression, sentiments of helplessness and thoughts of suicide. Many Still Here participants also described how they were confronted with homophobia and stigmatizing attitudes when they opened up to talk about their feelings to their doctor or counsellor.īecause of homophobia, men described feeling isolated, lonely and invisible.
